Intimate Wedding at Bode Nashville
What a beautiful celebration this was at Bode Nashville. I’ve passed this hotel driving through Nashville multiple times and honestly I never knew they did weddings! I was drawn to the all-black exterior, it makes the building stand out so much compared to the rest of Nashville.
Coleman and Jillian were the sweetest couple ever. I didn’t get a chance to meet them before the wedding, but that wasn’t a problem at all. As soon as I met them there was an immediate connection and comfortability. I knew they trusted me completely with the photos and I always do my best work when I feel that way!
I absolutely loved the style of this wedding. Jillian remarked to me that she had seen a lot of nature-y and outdoorsy work of mine, but hadn’t seen a lot of urban scenes so she was worried I wouldn’t like it! I assured her it was the opposite. As much as I love shooting weddings at venues and sessions in the mountains there is something so special about a wedding like this. Bode was the perfect backdrop for this simple, elegant, and timeless wedding.
There were wildflowers and candles and a mix of warm and cool colors that went together perfectly- Jillian did such a good job! They had a food truck cater for dinner and there was so much laughter and happy tears.
A night to remember!
Also- this was one of my very first weddings that I shot some polaroids! I only included two scans in this blog post but keep an eye out for them. They all turned out so cute!!!
