Engagement Photography at Fort Negley

This session was such a dream- it was my first time at Fort Negley!

I arrived early to scout out some locations and I found some amazing spots! Cole and Mckenzie booked me for their wedding (which is still yet to happen- can’t wait for it eeek!). So I had chatted on the phone with them but hadn’t met them in person. We instantly hit it off. We wandered around the park chatting about life and their story (which is amazing by the way, they met in high school) and got the best of the amazing golden hour/sunset we had on this autumn day.

I will definitely be back to shoot here! We started on the top of the fort (see photos) and then made our way back down to the big lawn in front. We got the most beautiful sun and the colors of their outfits were perfect! We finished with going around back to a grassy spot- some of my favorites out of the whole shoot. I love those creamy whites and tall grasses. They absolutely killed it and I had such a blast hanging with these two- again, can’t wait for their wedding!

Mckenzie said the black and whites were some of her favorite- so timeless and elegant. I have to agree!!!
