Indoor Engagement Photos NYC | Brooklyn, New York

This is part one of Kayvan and Kristin’s engagement photo weekend in Brooklyn, New York. This was truly one of the best weekends I’ve ever had- it seriously did not feel like work at all! I may have cried happy tears on the bus home on the second day just because I was so filled with joy. There is just something about spending a weekend with two beautiful souls/best friends in such an amazing place like NYC. I left feeling so inspired and reminded why I love my job- because of experiences like this! New York City fills my heart like no other, and I got to feel it in a whole different way.

We started the weekend with a bang on Thursday night with free tickets to Dermot Kennedy at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan. Kayvan works at Genius (how cool?!) so this was pretty much just another night of work to him. But I got an experience of a lifetime! It was so cool to experience the concert and also just get to know these two better- it made the whole weekend so comfortable because we had already spent time together.

Our first location was this amazing hotel (linked below) called Hotel Indigo. It was literally right across the street from their apartment, so it was perfect! We also got a room upgrade, which was so amazing because LOOK HOW COOL the room was! The spiral staircase was my favorite. And the light was perfect!!! Their pup also made an appearance in these photos, how cute?!?! Just a few family portraits.

Peep the little paw in the photo above (dying how cute).

Our second location was a little cafe in Williamsburg called Cafe Colette (also linked below). We got so lucky with where we got sat, it was in this perfect little greenhouse room! Such an amazing vibe. These two are the cutest.

On our walk home we found this piano in the middle of the street. Kayvan and Kristin are both musicians and sometimes sing and write their own music together. So of course we got some photos of them playing and singing together!

That’s it for now, but keep an eye out for part two! It has some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. (hint: they involve us on a rooftop at sunset and the Brooklyn bridge!)
