Roan Mountain Elopement | Cole & Rachel

Oh what an amazing weekend this was! Rachel and I had been FaceTiming and planning this day for weeks. I had never been to this particular spot at Roan Mountain but I had been dying to shoot here! I’m so glad Rachel trusted me because it could not have gone better!!!

Cole and Rachel had to postpone their wedding because of covid but decided to elope because they just couldn’t wait to be married! There was a lot of sadness and frustration with having to postpone, but honestly they got the best of both worlds! Talking to Rachel now she has voiced that she is so glad everything worked out the way it did, regardless of how she felt having to push the wedding off!

I showed up a little early to scout and soak in the views and then met Cole and his Dad back down in the parking lot. They headed up and then I met Rachel and the rest of the family and we hiked up! Rachel got her wedding shoes on (see below) and then they had the cutest first look.

This day was so special and intimate, I am so lucky I got to be a part of it! Congrats Cole & Rachel!
